The FFFH-Gebiete who can be translated by a natural reserve, is a part of the European program Natura 2000. In contrary the Naturschutzgebiete which can be translated as a landscape preservation is a German law of preservation. They both have one common aim: to maintain, develop and preserve the habitat of ecosystems. In the law the FFFH-Gebiete is more complex and more strict than the Naturschutzgebiete. The aim of this reserve is the transnational protection of the threatened species animal and vegetal and their natural habitats.

The topic also dies to preserve heritage or history of a site and particularly those of an «exceptional beauty» (as said in the law paragraph) Every action who could destroy, modify or change any of these habitats is prohibited. This protection has a higher degree of protection than the Landschaftsschutzgebie. In this Landscape preservation the agriculture and Agroforestry is a law in a certain term of condition. Every action who can change the nature of the area is prohibited. So for example the change of a meadow for an agricultural land is not allowed. The uses of Phyto products are forbbiden. The construction is allowed in speciale area. Theses protected area can be views as buffer  zones.

But in reality the border between theses boats reserves is al- most not visible. And because of the two states, the compre- hension of the differences is complicated. We can wonder if is there a real difference between two of this German models of the nature preservation? Could the European policy unify them? Could we think about a unique model of protection?
